Terrorism raids carried out across Sydney
600 Police raid homes across Sydney

Currently ongoing but so far 15 people detained and 1 person charged as Police will allege that planning had begun to kidnap a random person from the streets of Sydney's CBD, behead them and drape them in the Islamic State flag.

Ronald, would you like to enlighten us to what is 'really' happening with IS in Iraq, ie what the media aren't allowed to show us.

Fortunately Ronald has no influence over anything important, and his warped terrorist sympathising views are just for our benefit.

Unfortunately there are plenty of thick cunts like him who do have influence.

I've never experienced it, but being beheaded sounds absolutely ghastly.

C'mon Ron, you know the story.

These blokes[read bloke) are guilty. They must be the NSW Police, AFP, ASIO all reckon they(read he) are and that's good enough for me.

How would you feel if you were beheaded?

Re: Terrorism raids carried out across Sydney
Ron, there may have only been one person charged(so far) but the charges are pretty serious and if true this fella was one of the top men and the main recruiter for ISIL in Australia.

Investigations are ongoing and more charges may be laid, the Police have already said the information and intelligence they recovered has been invaluable, expect these things take time to link people to events or possible threats particularly to something that may have been in the planning stage.

IMO, 15 arrests and one charged isn’t that bad a result particularly if they have taken out a king pin in this organisation, plus a whole host of possible suspects know there on the radar.

I dont care if none were nicked frankly - plod will do what it needs and raids serve various purposes beyond just showing the public that something is being done

In simple terms when I was a pup and going to football I fitted the demographic, so like the rest, was constsantly hassled by the police, irrespective of my actions

To trot out a cliche not all muslims are terrorists but all terrorists threatening us are

Given the at best luke warm rejection from the general muslim communities, of extremists, they have chosen a bed into which they lay

Fuck them

I went out of my way to point out that I was not saying they weren't stabbed (or similarly injured).

The whole country has descended into a paranoid state.
All it needs is for accusations to be made, and the media jumps right on board with it, giving it full on coverage.

A number of people were arrested in raids last week. This was headlines in every media outlet.
What received far less fanfare, was the FACT that only ONE of those people was charged with anything at all.

I too have a deep cynicsism of the reported news, and have indeed been alone in supporting some of your more, apparently, outlandish posts

But I am struggling to see the logic of suggesting doubt over the stabbing of two Aussie Bobbies

Ron, whilst sometimes we are fed lies and misinformation, we are more often just told the truth. it is the exception not the rule that events are 'glossed'

Afraid you have lost it on the stabbings Ron

Try calling the police 'filth' if you're ever in danger of being beheaded by these muslim nutjobs.

"In these matters media sources report what they're told to"

Well that's your opinion, ronald. Doesn't mean it's a fact, or even close to reality. You're entitled to your opinion, of course, even if it's completely loony.

Re: Terrorism raids carried out across Sydney
In these matters media sources report what they're told to, although I don't see any reporting of him having a flag of any kind with him at the police station.

I don't much care for the filth.

Re: Terrorism raids carried out across Sydney
So the fact (well reported fact from EVERY media source) that he had 2 knives and an ISIL flag with him and his facebook apparently had support for this calling from ISIL for its Aussie Supporters to carry out a beheading and drape the corpse in that flag you haven’t mentioned in your scenario of what may have happened?

And the fact you refer to the Police as “Filth” speaks volumes.

Understand one officer was slashed on the arm & the other had stab wounds on his arm, chest & head.
Second one is serious but stable and in surgery on Wed so I imagine there might be some reaction from the hospital on your evening news, Ronald.

If you can trust the hospital or the media stooges that is

I think they should jolly well just let terrorists do what they darn well please whenever they want to.

Then, if those same terrorists would be kind enough to tell the nearest bobby-on-the-beat all about it, he (or she - can't be sexist in the modern world) can give them a right royal telling off before sending them home for their tea.

That way everybody's happy...except, maybe, the victims...and they shouldn't have got in the way in the first place, the fucking losers.

Re: Terrorism raids carried out across Sydney
Sydney

You appear to be suggesting that I believe the entire incident was made up.

I have simply called into question how events unfolded, and to what extent the young man assaulted the filth.

As I understand it, he is alleged to have been a person of interest in relation to a plot to carry out some form of "terrorism". But for some reason they ASKED him to attend the police station for an interview. Seems an unusual way to deal with a suspect in these matters.
Also, he is alleged to have been seen waving an ISIS flag a few days ago. Got him banged to rights then.

Here's what may have happened.

A young Muslim is given notice to attend a police station. He's feeling somewhat persecuted, simply for being a Muslim. During his visit to the police station he gets somewhat agitated by the overbearing nature of the filth, and things spiral out of control. He manages to injure a couple of the filth with some sharp object, and they shoot him dead.
If you're going to say that the sharp object in question was a knife he'd brought with him, do you not think it may have been prudent for them to have searched him on arrival, seeing as he was such a dangerous individual? Allegedly.

All I'm asking for is SOLID evidence of the claims been made. I'm seeing fuck all in that regard.
